Any one have the issue where you are 99 to 99 on a point, and nearly your entire team is wipe but they are on the way but the clock is ticking and you have one team member still alive but is allowing the clock to run down by not contesting the point?
Your team loses as a result because of that one asshole is too afraid to contest the point to buy time for a fraction of a second. This happen to you?
Also is it bad I get play of the game with Zenyatta for killing other players rather than healing my team?

You could say the same about nearly any character.
If you want a specific character in your comp, and it isn't being chosen, it is probably up to you to change to it. Most people aren't going to switch to characters they don't like to satisfy some random people in a match that they'll probably never play with again.
Personally, if I am playing Lucio, I won't switch to a Mercy because I am not as effective with her. If someone picks Mercy, I'll usually swap out of support (although sometimes two is nice, depends really).

I've gotten POTG ONCE as Lucio and it wasn't even my best play that game. Ulted for the team push on Payload, E'd for some heals before switching to speed mode and took down a tracer before going back to the point. Was nice though.

Only played the game for 16 hours total, and 5 of those are on Generic 76, and I really fucking love him, he's just good all rounder, helix for burst, E for healing team if needed or very useful for flanking around the enemy team and causing some havoc.
His ult is pretty gud too, not the I win button unlike say junkrat, but useful in picking off priority squishy targets or out sniping slightly brain dead widowmakers or Hanzos.

Happens all the time OP i always have the max objective time like 3 minutes on average and we still lose sometimes because some people are afraid to get on the point and hold it till the rest of the team arrives. I remember one time I had like 34 kills and 3 minutes on the objective as a Tracer and when I died my team just let the enemy take the point and they all just backed off shooting randomly but none moving to capture and when I'd do it I'd die because no one would come and support me, even if I used the group up option I think the game purposefully puts me with retards so I can lose.
And yes you should be healing your team because that's the job of a support and you should be tossing shields out every once and a while.

Pharah. If you're in the air, Reaper can barely deal any damage to you. Being in the air also makes it easier to spot flanking Reapers.
Another, less effective, option is Toblerone. Many retarded Reapers will shift to your turret and try to shoot it down from close range, only to die to you and your turret. The turret is also good at detecting his flanks.

Helix has homing properties in visor mode. If she got grazed by a bullet during the ult and you alt fired she is as good as dead. No chasing required. I usually save the helix for hanzo or widow though since they think they can outsnipe a homing rocket and an aim bot for 6 seconfs.

I really want to love Zenyatta, but his poor health pool and mobility make him too easy to pick off in a teamfight.
Every other 150hp hero has some kind of mobility, and every other support has a defensive option. Your only defensive option as zenyatta is killing other players before they kill you. That being said, Zen can dish out the pain and rack up the kills, but if he had 50 more HP or some kind of mobility action like double jumping or hovering, he'd be my favorite character to play as in the game.
