24 games so far, several purchases of DLC for games I already have, and 3 returns (Technically 5 returns since 1 was a bundle, but still).
Spent about $170 after refunds, and $50 of that was from a steam card I bought at BB from some rewards certificates I had. I have about $5 in my steam account right now, and will probably be about $12 later after refunds. Considering getting another $15 game and any smaller deals I see.

Sales have been shit for the last few years.
When they first started the sales it was just summer, then summer and winter, now there's like 6 sales a year.
It didn't take long for people to realize new games aren't worth buying at full price when there's a sale every 2 or 3 months.
Once a game goes 75% off for example, far less people are likely to buy it at the normal price. They expect another 75% off sale around the corner.
The discount price effectively becomes the new normal price when there are sales so often, so publishers started offering weaker and weaker discounts.
There are still some good games on discounts, but it's all games that are multiple years old and everyone already bought.
