Is this game worth the money? I dont want to spend 50 bucks if im going to get bored of it within a week...

I think its really fun gameplay wise. Its a great game to just sit down and play for 30-90 minute bursts.
The art, characters, and the lore are great too.

Nearly 90 hours game time and I'm still having fun.
That said, you need to start playing with friends/in parties because eventually you will get sick of playing with randoms. This game is 10x more fun in a group w/ teamspeak etc.

It's absolute garbage, OP.
Shit balance. Shit maps. Shit community. Depth of a puddle. You'll get about three or four hours out of it before you realise how little there is to do in it, and the "skill" involved in playing it is counterpicking the opposing team. That's it. Literally press Q to win.
For all of you who think I'm trolling, consider this: If Overwatch was made by any other company other than Blizzard, it wouldn't be even 1/100th as popular and would have had a similar fate to Battleborn. Blizzdrones are the fucking worst.

21 heroes, many of which you won't bother playing as.
Randoms in quick match refuse to fill roles.
You'll be bored in a week.
I've played at least an hour every other day or so since it came out and I'm having fun. Playing with friends is probably necessary because just soloqueueing can get frustrating/boring
Might be worth it when competitive mode is out.
I've been playing since closed beta and I'm still not bored of it. It's definitely worth it.
I'm playing on PS4 only because my friend has it too. It's pretty fun though some maps are really unbalanced and the other team can just camp infront of your spawn point with 3 Bastions and wipe the floor with you.

If you play it for more than 5 seconds you can tell it's very much balanced around PC.
Characters who dont need to aim like winston, symettra, and torbjorn are currently DESTORYING console overwatch.
Consolefags are saying torb is completely broken and ruining the game, it's hilarious

$40 dollars for a well polished game isn't a bad deal if it's in a style you find fun.
The value only gets better as the game is going to provide free content (heroes and maps) which the game is going to have for years down the line given how big it already is.
