It's okay, but it suffers from BBS syndrome where enemies can't really be stunned at all unless you use the Balloon tree or some very select commands, the Dream Eaters add nothing to the game and are a huge pain in the ass to raise up, Flowmotion really need to be worked on more, the maps are way too huge with nothing in them, and the story goes absolutely insane.
Still a fun game though.

Its great, I have don't get people complaining about the combat, its one of the best in the series gameplay wise. Flowmotion is fun as fuck, and I like monster collecting stuff in general so I didn't mind the dream eaters. I don't know why enemies not flinching constantly is bad, keeps you from just mashing x over and over; its one of the harder games as well because of this, you have to actually pay attention to what enemies are doing. Just don't go in expecting an amazing story and you should have fun with it.
