XIII is pretty but has a much smaller roster than both 98 and 2002, as well as more limited movesets and some missing veterans. 98 has multiple gamemodes and alternate rulesets, and 2002UM has a completely redone soundtrack as well as 60+ characters all right form the start, along with alt movesets.
2002 doesn't have a lot fo features, like no story mode but plays tight and serves as a great introduction to the series and genre. 98 is an undisputed classic and considered the best by many fans.
XIII is still an excellent fighting game, but the budget and the decision to stick with sprites hurt it immensely.

don't get that version of BlazBlue, it's the first one and there have been SEVERAL upgrades since then. Chrono Phantasma Extend is the current version, and nobody plays the older ones.

I'm not sure just how much carries over since the dlc isn't that impressive really, but a lot of the stuff they wanted to do in SG2 they couldn't do to some limitations so they made a new one.
Honestly, I saw that it was a separate game and got pissed how it was felt like the exact same game just with more and haven't looked into it too close. SG2 is kinda fun but sectors felt pretty samey to me.

Doom on steam comes with the dosbox emulator and it runs like dogshit on there. Just buy it, keep the wad file, download zdoom, and get a refund. I did that for 1 and 2 and they both run flawlessly with zdoom.

The characters are basically irrelevant to the gameplay though so it's not like you have to get invested in any real story. My main advice if you do pick it up, have one character devoted to tanking, which means go pure VIT with them. At level 11 or so as a knight, they get taunt. Your life will get a lot easier then.

I adored the earlier DR games since the first came out. First off the port is shit. Unlikable setting, main character is a fucking good 2 shoes chode who can't shut the fuck up (everytime you turn the corner and see zeds he is like, oh shit or oh my god.) The story lacks the campy fun of the first games. The gameplay is reduced to go to point, grab collectible recipe/pp bonus, repeat. The only aspects of the game I kind of liked where the psychopaths and the weapon crafting, though the only worthwhile weapons are recipes.

That's all I wanted, anyway, so I'm happy with the sale. Melty Blood and Slime Rancher were both games I was waiting to get sales for, so it's all in all a good sale for me.
There's a lot more games on sale than what first appears to be the case, but Steam sucks at finding them. I didn't even know Melty Blood was on Steam until a few months ago, or Corpse Party until today.

I didn't care for EO, so take this for what you will:
There's a good chunk of build variety between characters, both in what classes they take and what class they end up as and what stats get upped as you level. As an example, if you plan on one character inflicting status ailments via weapons to large number of enemies, then you need to make them be or end on Samurai for its "hit multiple lines" attacks and as some point either go Fighter or Ninja for claw weapons. They also need large amounts of AGI and LCK to use said weapons. On the flip side if you want an archer who can just go "fuck that mage in the back," then pure ranger for "triple attack every turn works," though taking a few levels of ninja helps that a lot too. Bows need a lot STR and AGI.
Odd weapons exist here and there, like some that need lots of PIE (think Wisdom from DnD), including the best hammer in the game. Hammers are used mostly to KO the enemy.
