We didn't need no dumb swap magic disk to keep swapping out burned games.
We just used that one 007 game to hack the console and install custom firmware.
Could play games over ethernet and from HDD's.

I did tape and tissue explicitly to play ps1 backups, you didn't need it for ps2 games. ps2 supported component video so it was better than ps1, if you don't mind swapping discs every boot.

dude, i have a slim ps2 and used the 007 agent under fire exploit to install free mcboot, you only need to block the sensors once for that. i can play ps1 and ps2 games through usb, backups, or over ethernet. swap magic is incredibly dated

But PS1 games support is shit, you have to use shitty emulators to load from usb, hdd or ethernet and there is no way to use the native BC capabilities of the PS2
