My favorite aspect of Overwatch is the girls.
Don't get me wrong, I greatly enjoy the game itself (despite the overly long delays between games due to POTG, commendations etc), and love playing as most of the characters (males included), but I bought it first and foremost for Pharah, Mercy, Widowmaker and D.Va.
The game has a diversity in waifus that I normally expect only from fighting games but, unlike fighting games, the game itself is a genre I don't completely suck at.
But if Overwatch has any lore to support Mercy and Pharah pairing, that would be my favorite aspect.

My favourite aspect of the lore is how they're supposed to be working together to save the world. The game reflects that perfectly with endless 6v6 team battles across that world, with objectives ranging from sabotage of Overwatch assets to assassinating movie directors.

I'd love a character whose melee attack was to whack people with a briefcase full of money.
And his ultimate could be to whip out a second Tommy gun, gain a huge damage and reload speed boost, and maybe a health bump or some strong health regeneration during that time. He could even yell something along the lines of "You'll never take me alive!"
His E could be to point at an enemy who would then be highlighted to his team and that guy would receive increased damage (less than Discord tho) and anybody who shot him would get extra points. Could be a great way of organizing a teams firepower.
His shift could be to throw a wad of cash at a teammate that would give them a random but minor buff. IE +10% damage, +25 armor, +20% ammo capacity, +20% reload speed, etc. This could go away when the giver (not receiver dies) for balance reasons.
His purpose would be a fairly tough character (maybe 300 health) with supporting abilities who could stand on his own.
His primary could be a Tommy gun lookalike with 45 rounds, medium damage and range, slow ROF, and a fairly long reload.

I've had an idea about this kind of character long before Overwatch, a robot gunslinger that has 6 arms. Normally he'd be wearing a pancho and only have one of his guns/arms out, but under special circumastances he'd throw the pancho back and have all 6 guns/arms out. So in this case it'd be his ultimate, drawing 6 guns to fire away with.

He is a knight trying to become a prince from an European country, his job is hunting down former overwatch agents for money and to prove he can lead a kingdom

An omnic inventor/gadgeteer that uses a stun prod as his main weapon. Primary fire whacks enemies in melee range, secondary fire is a medium ranged zap that takes a few seconds to recharge.
His kit consists of a G.R.A.V (Gravitic Resonance Ascension Vehicle), which deploys a jump pad usable by everyone on the team, a T.A.R.P (Tool Assisted Restrictive Particle-mesh) which acts as a slowing, damaging wall for enemies while allowing allies free passage and E.N.D (Experimental Neutralization Device), which causes a semi-random (the ability constantly switches between the possible effects, and the one that ends up coming out is the one it was on when the ability is used) debilitating effect on each enemy character affected. These include things like disarm, stun, blind, confusion (scrambled controls) etc.
Fair amount of health and a side of shields due to him having to get close to whack people with his prod. Is pals with Winston because science and also because he isn't human. Regards Zenyatta as a hippie who cannot see how dangerous humans are.
I had an idea for a support that's not a healer

I want to see a character with an LMG. Like, take Bastion's turret form where he has a ton of ammo to put out, but lower it's damage by a considerable margin in exchange for greater mobility. I was thinking of them as an anti-shield character, and then that got me thinking of an additional trait that would make them interesting.
The gun bleeds through defensive abilities for small amounts of damage. Like let's say it's normally 13 damage a shot, 10 shots a second, for a total of 130 DPS. If you shoot a shield like Reinhardt's, it does 10 damage to the shield and the bullet passes through to do 3 damage to whatever it hits behind it. So you'd have a character who would counter teams with lots of shielding like Reinhardt/Zarya/Winston, because he'd be able to finish off low HP people who try to hide behind shields, but he wouldn't invalidate shields altogether because his damage output against them would be somewhat low if they're at full health.

Italian fat chef as healer.

Omnic war-construct "Breacher"
Primary weapon: Electromagnetic Accelerator. Fires medium range, pinpoint accurate electric discharges.
Shift: Pneumatic claw. Breacher revs his engine and charges forward. Upon impact with an enemy or reaching max distance, he will execute a quick melee swipe. Should this swipe connect with an enemy, Breacher latches on with his claw and can drag the hapless victim with him for 3 seconds.
E: Demolisher shell. Breacher fires a high-explosive payload from his back-mounted launcher. This projectile has a high firing arc and medium travel speed. It also has a distinct firing sound and a whistling sound as it is coming down. The projectile can be destroyed mid-flight. Deals moderate damage to players and instantly destroys buildables. Untargetable by turrets. 12 second cooldown on successful impact, 6 second cooldown if the shell is destroyed in-flight.
Q: Overload. Breacher overloads his power cells, radiating electromagnetic energy in a large area around him as long as he keeps channeling the ability. Enemy players caught in the energy burst will have their weapons short circuit and find themselves unable to use them until they leave the affected area. Max channel time 5 seconds, Breacher is unable to move or fire during channeling.

You know, I've had a few ideas of a new support character, but I'm too lazy to draw up diagrams. I'm thinking that this could be Athena.
Primary weapon: Explained in E
Shift: Erases cooldowns from teammates. Above close teammates' heads you'll see if they have an ability on cooldown. Once you hit shift while they're targeted, their cooldown is erased. A message will appear on their screen as well ("epicredditman69 erased your cooldown" or something like that). Pairings such as Lucio/Athena would be very good.
E: Athena receives the primary fire (and secondary fire?) of whichever teammate Athena is currently targeting. This allows her to switch between 5 different weapons at any given time as long as she's close to her teammates. Since she's a robot and stuff, it wouldn't be an awkward implementation.
Q: Athena gives her ultimate meter to whichever teammate she's targeting. Of course, another prompt would be on the allied player's screen ("epicredditman69" gave you 100% Ultimate meter"). This would open up many opportunities for different synergetic pairings, such as stacking two Winston ults, or giving Junkrat full ult while his tire is already out. Also, I was thinking that it doesn't need to be full to be used. You can target an ally and hit Q to give them however much Ultimate you have stored up, from 1-100%.
Pretty weak on her own, but a solid support. What do you all think of my autistic character design? I just don't think there's enough true support characters in the game as it is.

How good have you become at spotting shit teams at the start of a match? I quit the minute a hanzo or two of any character is there or no support. I have had a -75 ep penalty for weeks. Why do I give a shit about rank or exp I play to enjoy a match not being a masochist playing on purposely built to lose teams. If they actually ban me for quitting to much I will just stop playing the game for good.

Nothing is there to keep you really attached besides cosmetics out of skinner boxes, and after about ten rounds you'll have seen most of what the game has to offer.

What if we had some kind of bodyguard or military Omnic hero; maybe with a focus on CIWS style things
Maybe he could have a set of forward facing auto-targeting guns, which after a short delay fire bursts at two targets in front of him (loud beeping warning them off; more as a disruption and suppressing tool than a damage dealer, but deadly if squishies don't respect its power). Maybe he can fire a secondary gun manually, but it's not as strong and doesn't aim itself.
Then he could have an ability that causes him to purge his remaining armor (automatically used when he runs out of armor if it's not on cooldown) that speeds him up, and after a few seconds replenishes his armor (but not his health). This has synergy with what his ult could be.
His ult could be a radial "retaliation field" where additional automatic guns are prepared to fire. For a short duration any enemy that fires at allies close to him (need to be pretty close) or fires standing close to him (longer range) would be targeted and fired upon by the automatic guns. This would perhaps be best shaped in a wide arc in front of him (greater than 180 degrees), but with a small blind-spot directly behind him, if not a full 360 degrees.
The result is a tanky hero with a focus on leading the charge and protecting his allies without stepping on Reinhardt shoes or being too derivative.

Yes. It's meant to be ultimately completely useless except as a desperation move to keep allies alive on the point for just a tiny bit longer.

Minor audio cue, and it's done with a whip. It has to actually hit the character, wrap around their entire body, and then they get pulled in. He would need to be within 2 meters of them for this to work, as well.
