How did we go from cool summer sale achievements in hundreds of games that earn you tickets for dlc (summer 2011) / coal for games and coupons (winter 2011) to a boring static sale that doesn't change at all and has overall worse deals for two weeks?
Lots of big publishers don't want to do 75% sales like they used to because they're forced to have the deal up for two weeks, such as ubishit. Fucking Unity which is 1.5 years old is only 50% off, whereas I remember black flag (the last good AC game) was 50% off 0.5 years after it came out, 66% off the following winter, and 75% off the next summer.
