I keep telling myself I'll salvage the hard drives and the heat sink, but I really just want the porn off the hard drives and heat sinks aren't THAT expensive. This is a nice one though.

Living in a brick house really does make a huge difference. I mean it'll still get super fucking not and I'll have to turn th3 AC on but it takes longer than other houses so that's cool. My computer runs fine though even when my GPU is at 99% usage it still doesn't get super hot or anything even when it's 70 or 78 in here.

some people overclock, even on shitty stock coolers, some people have poor airflow in their case, some people don't have AC, some people never clean their PCs, some people use the same computer for four or more years without re-applying thermal paste.

Overwatch has been burning my shit up (I've had two forced shutdowns due to overheating while playing it) so I started manually controlling my GPU fan to spin at speed 90.
This happened with Diablo 3 at launch also. It burned one of my hard drives up due to a memory leak. It was a pretty widespread problem.

When's the last time you messed with the heatsink? You may want to remove the thermal paste that's there and apply some more. You may also want to replace the heatsink with something new. They're pretty cheap (15-30 bucks) and are usually much better than stock Intel coolers.

The problem is, my case right now is pretty small and it's cramped as fuck so I wanna switch up to a bigger case
I have this old case lying around from, like, 2005, it was a really really nice case back then, given to us by my mom's PC enthusiast boss. He got in on the ground level with computers, dude was like a major shareholder at Intel or some crazy shit.
My question is, it doesn't look like it has a lot of airflow, but if it was really good back then, it should be fine now right?
