It has garbage level design because the game is built around the tagging mechanic. Kinda the same problem with MN9's dashing mechanic.
Boss fights are fairly solid though.

I liked Gunvolt it for the most part. The level designs could be better, but just about everything else is solid. And thats saying something after having finished playing Mighty Blunder 9.

The gameplay is fine but the cut content on the 3DS version does suck. They said they'd patch it but it still hasn't happened. Also another note, I've seen some people complaining about the framerate capping at 30FPS but I'm okay with it.
