Is there anyone as or more obsessed with a specific game as pannenkoek is with Mario 64?
>>
>>342389504

autism

just stop
>>
I dont get why you would want to finish the game with 1 and a half A presses?? Whats the point
>>
>>342389778
He actually hopes he can one day beat the whole game by not doing ANY A presses.

He would beat a jumpman game without jumping.
>>
I am as obsessed with Ocarina of Time.
I know everything about it.
Ask me anything.
>>
>>342389995

does he win a medal for that?

No.
>>
>>342389778
There is none. It also stinks since the entire thing is TAS'd. No human could actually perform these techniques while playing the game.
>>
>>342389778
Maybe your A button is broken and really hard to press?
>>
>>342390036

what is OoT best waifu?
>>
>>342390036
How many beta rooms are left in the game?
>>
>>342390036
Is it a good game?
>>
>>342390126
There's some things that he does which are doable by humans like some basic teleportation glitches like flying up a pole or the like.
>>
>>342390112
Would it matter if he did?
You know, accomplishing something used to be its own reward.

Why is the game so fucking unfinished? I hate how you get to the top of deku tree and suddenly there's nothing else to do.

I forget the Youtube channel but I once stumbled onto this guy who was completely insane about The Binding of Isaac, had analysis on the items and libraries and dice rolls.

Not Pannenkoek crazy but still pretty interesting to listen to. Also love this guy's channel.

It's hard for me to grasp people who even replay DaS games once, let alone like 10 times with different builds and shit

Yes. But their design is so different that they might as well be called something else.

I think something similar was in Galaxy, but I can't remember if it was exactly the thing from 64.

Incorrect.

The correct answer is Bombchu Bowling Alley Girl.
>>
when i was a kid i must have replayed windwaker over 30 times

People seem to forget that he's playing the game sped up dozens of times on a TAS emulator, using info datamined by others. He didn't just wildly stumble in this crazy shit.

I love this guys videos. When i first saw this i thought it was a joke at first because he talks real sarcastically. Then i realized it was real. His video of rescuing the yoshi kids without sushie is also batshit insane.

What do you mean, nothing to do? That's the end of the first half. In Master Quest you don't even have to enter the room where you get the Slingshot in vanilla.
>dungeon with no boss
That's because the Gerudo Training Grounds were a salvaged Light Temple,
>>342391004
No. But I can complete it without Z presses. However I think this is only possible in OoT3D because the parasitic tentacles in Jabu-Jabu move way too fast in the N64 game. I'm not sure it's even possible in OoT3D, but I think I've done it once.
>>342391045
When you defeat Gohma, there's some brief window of input. At that point you pull out the bugs in your bottle, and recatch them. This makes the bottle blue which uses the same hexadecimal code as the Ocarina of Time. As you near the portal, you side-jump so Link oversteps it, as you mash the button for the bottle. Since that requires a cutscene and you're already in a cutscene, it interrupts the cutscene of Link flying up. Allowing you to move around. However the game is still searching for the exit path for Link to appear in front of the Deku Tree. Since you're in Queen Gohma's lair that game reads it as XX. As you enter the inputs, in the Ocarina, you affect that counter, telling it where Link is supposed to go. At that point, you cancel out on the designation you want. Then just run out the entrance (from my understanding it disappears because you're in cutscene mode, hence no reason for it to be solid). This completes the reading on warping Link. Link appears at the end of Ganondorf's fight because the rooms were close enough in the code (probably cause they're bosses).

Malon is a shit copy of Marin.

Even Saria and Ruto are better than Malon.

BBAG is best girl though. Do Ruto, Saria, or Malon give you a piece of heart or a bigger bomb bag? I didn't think so.

>Ruto literally gives you a wedding ring, dowry, makes you an heir to a monarchy
You don't get a ring from her. As for the dowry, Link promptly leaves it in the Temple of Time, showing he doesn't care about it. After Link becomes an adult, Ruto says they can't be together since she's the Sage of Water.

So much for being the hear to a monarchy and that fish pussy, buddy.

You can probably get buy for most of the game playing four corners with the dungeons (using bombs to get the bow, and then the bow to kill off enemies in Fire Temple without running out of bombs before the Hammer.).

However I think you need to alternate between A and B 20 times in order to free yourself from Dead Hand, and getting caught is the only way to lure him out, other than using bombs. But that's your only means to injure him since the Hammer won't reach through his body).

You can use a Jump Attack to hurt him, which isn't pressing the B button, but you need to press B in order to draw your sword.

It's a cache-22.

This isn't even autistic. Shit like this is pretty easy to attain if you've played the game for a while and know the mechanics. I'm pretty sure all these items were obtained by using the infinite item combo of.
>Captain's Brooch
>Skeleton Key
>Rapid Mitosis
>Beating Embryo

Which isn't even that hard especially when you have the artifact that lets you SELECT items.

Basically the RNG involved in manipulating the pendulums in tick tock clock to where he needs them are so astronomically large it will never happen even in a TAS without hacking the game. At least half the A presses left in the game are on that stage and his recent strategy development has been seeing what he can do with them.
