Try turning the camera around if you are looking for a car. It can make them pop. I think it works for all the GTA games with GTA 3's engine.

Better having a small map filled with life than a huge one full of nothing and dead. Many parts of SA map was useless with no need to exist. 3's map was better at that.

I'm replaying those games on Ps4 after i got the gta collection.
GTA3 aged like milk but it was still fun.
Now i'm playing Vice City again, the amount of improvement over GTA3 are fucking huge.
Even if these games are dated i have more fun with these than i had with GTA4 or 5. Those games are fucking soulless.

Not really. A cool setting without a doubt, but gameplay wise nothing but a reskin of GTA3 with a bell here and a whistle there. San Andeas is in a completely different dimension despite using the same engine.
