I forgot about this game until I saw a thread just earlier, but it's archived now. I found the download link and how to fix it by googling intensely for a couple minutes and thought I should share since I couldn't get it to run back in 2009 when it first came out.
What a coincidence, I worked on the translation project for Demonophobia years ago. It was pretty bad all things considered, but I was 17 at the time.
Interestingly, there was a txt file describing the characters and story in Xenophobia that has been scrubbed out in the later versions.

There's actually screenshots of her being able to put on accessories such as glasses and wristbands. There doesn't seem to be any trace of a playable build of it though.
