Basically if you want to know what the game is like at this point: it's the Korean version without the bots and P2W. Just go look at videos from that version from about the time you played last and going forward. It's hard to quantify the changes in a link when they're literally: reverted to a better version.

Also: buying game time with ingame currency has never been viable unless you dedicate yourself to the game already. See: WoW, EVE, Gw2 (not game time, but currency), etc.

Quick example: sport fishing currently nets you enough in roughly 12 hours to buy a month's sub with gold. That's 12 hours in an entire month dedicated to paying the next's sub. Pretty fair in my opinion.

Labor is a non-issue with patron and labor pots are thrown at you like candy in game.
Archeum is gone from the shop and common in game.
All of the old P2W shit that still exists are login/achievement rewards now.
Lockboxes are purely cosmetic.
