I usually play Reinhardt unless no one is running a Mercy or Lucio. I've been trying to git gud with Zarya too. If the team is horseshit and not worth tanking for/healslutting I just go Soldier 76 and CoD it up. Also like playing Junkrat/Roadhog occasionally.

I think the game is pretty well balanced now. McREE isn't so annoying but doesn't seem ineffective. Shitters should just play the fucking game and adapt rather than whining about it online until one character or the other that annoys them is nerfed into the ground.

I really sick of the matchmaking in this game.
Seven losses in a row. And the last one was Volskaya on defense which is supposed to be unimpregnable, assuming your teammates aren't syphilitic gibbons.

I checked my stats just now: 51% win rate.

Games pretty balanced otherwise.

Don't use fire strike unless you're alone and there's no one to protect.

Mei and Junkrat need to be nerfed. There's no reason Pharah should hurt herself from rocket jumps, but Junkrat doesn't, or that Pharah has splash damage fall-off, but Junkrat doesn't.

Mei being able to just nope out of a fight for 5 seconds and fully heal herself is just overpowered. The icicle should be able to be destroyed with enough damage.

Mercy Ult needs a major major reworking. Entire co-ordinated pushes can be shut down because the Mercy stood behind a box power boosting a Hanzo. The Mercy does not even need to come out into the open to Res her entire team back to full health.

It needs to be LoS and it needs to work like High Noon, the longer you channel the Res the more health the Res'd characters come back with.

Something needs to happen even if its just a increase in the time taken to build it, because right now its entirely possible to have the ability to bring back an entire team on the first fucking engagement.

It used to have a cast time in the beta and I think thats the reason why it can go through walls. Her ult is too easy to dodge, and broadcasts itself too much, just step behind anything and the blast does nothing. Reins shield takes absolutely no damage from it. It's probably the worse ult in the game.

Also, right now she seems to have an identity crises. She's a tank but her blocking capabilities aren't that great. She has great mobility, but playing her offensively doesn't work either. She's too squishy for a tank, she gets rekt too easily for being a tank.

McCree needs a rework on his nerf because I've never been killed by a single McCree at any range since the nerf unless the person playing him has aimbot tier headshot aim, at which point he'd be better off playing Soldier 76 anyway for more dps and damage potential per magazine. Putting FtH on a cooldown, removing his reload on roll, and reducing FtH shot damage to 60 would have been fine.

Now that a mediocre Widowmaker can't instantly delete Zenyatta I think his health is fine, but a little work on his orbs would be nice, like removing the indicator of where the discord orb is at but make it stay on targets for longer. Also either slightly up the healing rate of harmony or make it stick to allies even without line of sight.

D.Va still needs something to give people an incentive to pick her over Winston other than waifu bait.

Widowmaker could still use a longer charge time and longer time between shots, and her hook should go on a 1/2 seconds cooldown if she's receiving damage so she can't easily escape from everybody that isn't Winston, that way she can't escape if somebody catches her, and will have to use her mine to know someone's coming and preemptively hook to another spot before she's caught, not after.

Symmetra needs some kind of change to her shields, because 25 really is barely anything. Maybe bump that up to 50 or let her shield less teammates but for more shield health instead.

Hard to think of any other changes that wouldn't make characters either too strong or too weak, especially since there are lots of characters that need some work put into them to become useful in top play like Mei, Bastion, Junkrat, and Torbjorn, but changing even a small thing about them can make them too strong with the way their skills and guns work.

Torbjorn can be a massive pain on consoles due to the shitty aiming. On tf2 i usually delt with turrets by sneaking around the corner and shooting the turret where you could see it while it couldn't. thats not possible in overwatch, the second you can see the turret it sees you, ive even been shot through the bloody geometry of the map, They should either reduce the lock on time or add damage fall off becasue right now on console the only way to destroy a turret easily with not many sacrifices is to play Widowmaker. Allthough torbjorn is easy to deal with on PC with the better aiming.

You can see why, though.

Primary fire slows attack speed and eventually freezes people in place for anyone to shoot. Secondary fire is a semi-auto sniper rifle that deals 75 damage, 150 damage per headshot.

She can self-heal while being 100% invulnerable, and body blocks areas for 4 seconds in the process. It can also be used as an invincible shield by allies. You also continue contesting points while in this invincible state.

Her wall has too many applications to list, but it can split apart enemy teams, block them from points, protect retreats, funnel enemies, raise allies to higher structures, misdirect your location to the enemy, and so on.

Her ultimate slows everyone in an 8 meter radius down, freezing them for 2 full seconds. It's nearly impossible to escape it, unless you're right on its edge. It also does 97 damage and has an absurdly massive range when thrown.

So in summary, her basic attacks are a complete input denial at close range, a medium damage sniper range attack, she has two utility heavy moves that deal no damage but do make her invincible, and an ultimate that can cause a whole team to wipe with another complete input denial. She's close range, long range, utility heavy with self healing and invincibility and mobility options.

Really, I think her basic attacks slowing people as fast as it does is a bit much, but it's easy to see why people despise her.

They are currently in a state where buffing their counters again, like Mcree would put them over the line.

The issue is that most characters in this game are fundamentally broken so its an arms race to counter them. Tracer is smack dab at the top of the list in the cancer arms-race. Adding a blink and a recall that restores HP is fucking absurd in an fps.

I'd accept a Mcree change where the first 2 bullets in a fan do a fuckload of damage and the rest fall off hard just so he can effectively end any tracer or genji near him. But simply put nothing will ever feel good or balanced in this game because they add so many mechanics that require non-interaction from the player.

Mei's new M2 fires a quick, short range blast of cold air, using up about the same ammo as the icicle, and causes instant freezing if caught in it, which lasts about half the time being frozen currently lasts. Does about 50 damage. Heroes who break out of this state cannot be frozen for about a second, (this does not apply to her M1's freezing ability) with a very mild visual effect to communicate this.
Mei can M1 immediately after M2ing.
Friendly Mei ice walls appear translucent (but still can't be walked through)
Ice wall now has three uses (like Tracer's dash), and each wall is about a third of the size of her current wall
Each of Mei's ice walls have a separate cooldown (same as Tracer's dash, again), which only starts ticking down when the corresponding ice wall vanishes (so if you have 3 ice walls up, the cooldown will only begin when one of the walls disappears)
Mei's self heal doesn't contest points, but reloads her gun gradually (reloads about half of your ammo if you remain in the self heal all the way)
The self heal period is slightly shorter, however it heals the same amount of health
Her ult remains unchanged

Theoretically, this should make her more fun to play against while also keeping her viable against better players. At least that was the intent.

It takes 3 bullets and a flashbang to fan down a tracer and 4 bullets to kill a genji. The stun only lasts 0.7 seconds so you will only get those 3 bullets within that timeframe. Genjis can dash away, or deflect and survive. Tracers you have to headshot.

The point is its less reliable to counter these two heroes on the hero that is supposed to hard counter them. Now depending on distance and if they were jumping or not its up to RNG if you get a kill or not, on the two most evasive characters in the game.

They nerfed him wrong plain and simple, killing these characters should be a given if they are hit by a flashbang, anyone else its questionable.

I can still kill tanks almost as easily as before, I can kill tracers most of the time but it takes far more effort to kill her than it should, and killing Genji's comes down to if damage was put into them before the flashbang. Shouldn't be like that. They need hard counters, and they nerfed their hardest counter.

I've mostly been playing Genji, Mcree, Junkrat, and Mercy. I'll switch them out to suit the situation if it's needed, though.

Mcree can be a little frustrating, though, because I feel like he was just slightly overnerfed. I only use fan the hammer on tracer, now, and to force reaper, genji's, and mei to exhaust their shift so I can re-engage. Unfortunately Mei is super shit to go up against, because my aim is still mediocre and I can't take her out at long range due to the massive damage drop off, but if you engage her at mid range she'll just walk up to you hopping around and freeze your ass the second you backpedal into a tiny piece of geometry jutting out of the wall.

I'm not too upset about the fan the hammer nerf, but I wouldn't mind seeing a very slight buff to his range so that I actually have a chance against a Pharah.

I "main" Genji and it only takes 1 Winston to counter him. You can't out dps him, you can't reflect him, and his leap goes further and has a longer cooldown than Genji's dash. Double Winston just shaves off a few more seconds of chasing you need to kill him.

Tracer, Symmetra and Tanks also screw him over

Double winston won't just be used to solely to make the genji players life hell, dual winstons is used alot in the lolesports tournaments because of how well he synergizes with himself. 2 jumps on someone will do 100 damage. Winstons gun does shit damage but combined with 2 monkeys on your ass and the instant 100 damage from the jumps and any squishy hero, not just genji will be dead quick

I always felt Torbjorn's gun needs a nerf. As much as everybody complains about his turret, I feel like I'm cheating having it and a gun that's great long range and short range. Like, reduce the range or have a larger drop off in damage at longer distances.

The fire rate is there to compensate. That and he's shooting molten lava at people. The game treats it like an explosive for that very reason. I've had Torbjorn spray me down with righteous fury but that's what I get for overestimating him. You'd also be amazed at how many people don't know he even has alt+fire.

I can go for this. But what I'd really like is for, once the Meka is destroyed, for there to be an AoE explosion that hurts everyone for 13-80 damage depending on the radius. Usually enemies swarm D.Va as that shit detonates and take her out. I've had Reinhardt bat me immediately upon flipping backward and then a second time which puts me down for good. I'd like a little security.

Or failing that I'd like for D.Va to be bale to launch in any four directions me it back, forward, left or right. I''d like for here to have completely invincibility until she hits the ground. I've been killed in the backflip animation more times than I can count. I'd also appreciate the ejection launching D.Va further away. At max the distance of one of Tracer's blinks.

All Bastion would need is 25 ammo ala Soldier 76 and he'd be gold--though it'd just make him a better S76 at that point. There's really nothing you can give him since he's absolutely solid.

That's exactly what happened with me. I was surprised at how much fun I was having flying back and forth micromanaging everyone's health and damage boosting specific characters. I'm mostly playing Tracer now. I was harassed by them for so long as Mercy that I was able to learn all the tricks and the paths to take by just seeing them come at me and my team completely ignoring them

Hence, movement speed. The whole point of Bastion as I see it is you're trying to get into a clever, strategically useful place to turret up and do some actual damage.

However, all you can do right now is pick a spot, turret up and hope. If you buff his movement speed, maybe also his transformation speed, at least you give him a fighting chance if he gets discovered and bum-rushed, or jumped from behind.

Right now, he's useless on any of the KOTH maps and most of the payload ones unless the other team is full of blithering retards.

I'd also completely overhaul his Ult and just turn it into something like Molten Core, where you get an extra 500 armor or something.
