Break that cycle. It's not impossible. You sound a lot like me a few months ago.
Start by having a couple of nights a week where you only have a couple of beers, as it's dangerous to stop completely at once. You probably won't be able to sleep those nights. Alcohol is a depressant and basically it slows your brain down, to counter this your body produces chemicals to speed it up again. When you stop drinking your body still produces those chemicals.
But yea not easy and takes time, might be the hardest thing you ever do but it's worth it. Also no one is going to hire a drunken mess so sort this out first.

trying to work on it a little but a good deal of my games I got in bundles.
I think the problem is I won't start a game unless I know I'll finish it otherwise I would see it as wasted
