its been so long since I've really enjoyed a civ game I can't even remember what made them great anymore. 4X as a genre has aged like piss in the sun. civ is kinda an anomaly.
i'm not sad they are making a new civ and I might get it late in its lifetime when all the dlc is out and the price is knocked down to reflect a full game at a new release price. That's opposed to the half a game at full price civ 5 was.

Gauls were Celts. The Gauls lived in what is now known as France.
Celts doesnt just refer to the Irish, Scottish, Welsh or even English. The real Celts were on the mainland and pushed to the edges of Europe by the Romans.

Nig, there's a ridiculous amount of American branding, movies, music, literature and art and it's all sent across the world in big boxes of FREEDUMS. American culture is literally everywhere. You could go to the farthest reaches of ass africa and people would likely know about Michael Jackson's music, and might be wearing a hand-me-down Micky Mouse t-shirt. If anything, America did win a cultural victory irl. Which is a little sad since they're only ~250 years old, granted a lot of their stuff was pulled from other cultures like Rome did.

Seems they're upgrading the art assets for single civs, and taking away some from the leaders. In addition to the fact that more abilities are explicitly tied to a leader than the civ I'd say they are fully intending on creating multiple leadersfor DLC.
