I can't imagine being autistic enough to genuinely believe that certain numbers on a rating scale are a sign of someone having no opinion.

Even if it is, 7/10 still makes it good. But it's not. It's a 1-10 rating system, not binary.
I always hate it when people ask me to rate something using numbers, because they don't really have any meaning. People have different opinions, and would have different thoughts as to what the number mean.
I much prefer having an actual discussion where I can say "I liked x because of y." Also the fact that when people ask me to rate a game I usually haven't played it nor do I give two shits about it, so of course I'm going to give a half arsed answer.
