OoT , MM and WW had framerate issues and the only game beeing locked at 30 fps were TP and SS.
Honestly i couldnt care less because its pretty impressive what Nintendo did on a Wii U.

Then Nintendo comes out with XCX on the by far weakest console and delivers a stunning looking game that can't hold stable fps simply because of hardware limitations yet it performs better than FO4, Now Nintendo showed a new Zelda which has an even grander scale than XCX.

Now there's even snowboarding, they allow Link to wear clothes other than the gay ass tunic and even armour.
The graphics sure as hell can't compete with PS4 or the XBone but it looks stunning nonetheless.
It remains to be seen if the performance and graphics are better on the NX but I wouldn't be surprised if it stays at that level.
In the final release drops to 20FPS would suck balls but I think people would still play the shit out of it just because the game in itself does so many things right that people just won't bother over graphics.
A title like CoD probably wouldn't be able to simply get away with stuff like that, but that's because they aim to look good while Zelda is supposed to be about the game in itself.
Personally I hope Nintendos next console flops and they just decide to release games for PC afterwards.

I've been using stats for nerds on the 720HD video from Polygon (56 mins) and for about 10 mins the average FPS is 29. It very seldom dipped below 28 FPS and often stayed at or above 30. Its not completely accurate as frames can be dropped and things like that. But I think it goes without saying that a streaming demo on a stage with a Stream software running through the WiiU probably aided in some of the slow downs we saw.
