I can't put my finger on it but it feels like a -1280 to -1300 ms audio timeshift almost fixes the lip syncing. -1300 comes just a bit short of their voices ending before their lips close though I'm not autistic enough to work on finding that perfect number to make the video have perfect audio syncing.

On Dustloop there are the moves listed and how they need to be guarded. If the guard says All does it mean any kind of guarding blocks it? Axl Low's 6H is described as an overhead but the guard says All? so it doesn't need to be blocked high or is it listed wrong or does overhead mean something else than a move that needs to be blocked high?

Raven isn't unga. He's just slightly good at everything but doesn't excel at anything.
He's got a good oki but nowhere near as good as Ky or Millia. He's got a warp dash but can't be abused like Slayer's. He's got a dash-in air dash but isn't as good with it as I-No can be. He's got reach but not as much as Faust or Axl.

This guy right here. I spent so much time practicing Venom, but I can't play him for shit. His combos aren't that bad and he isn't even that execution heavy overall, but since he's so setup-focused it seems like you really need to know your matchups, always have a plan and be able to change it on the spot. And in addition to that you need to be very careful with your ball placement and formations and try to always have a charge ready so you can carcass raid or stinger aim. I'm hugely predictable with my Venom play and I can't seem to change that no matter what I do, so I've taken to play other characters instead.

I have played I-No on pad some and yeah, they can be difficult. But when it comes to online play I feel like they aren't really that necessary. Since it's harder to block online people often have enough trouble with I-No's regular high low mixups. Of course you can use the FD cancels for tricky crossups and other things as well, but I think most I-No players online do perfectly fine without them.
So now that That Man has been whitewashed to hell and retconned to be "for the greater good, really!!", what will happen with Baiken's playable?

Why? His oki is the easiest in the game, you just do HS stun edge after opponent's knockdown and start pressure. If you do 2D try to do Split Ciel ater it so you can do stun edge through grinder for better pressure.

A lot of characters in BB, probably all of them, just have way too fucking long combos. Look at Kokonoe, Tager, Hazama, Valk, Litchi, etc. These combos genuinely feel 20-30 seconds long. I think in previous games like CP characters like Litchi ACTUALLY could combo you for that long.

No one's saying it never happens in GG, because it always did. But in BB it happens way too much. "Some of I-No's combos" sure, but then almost all of Kokonoe's combos are similarly long.
BB has a serious problem where it seems like they are just unable to make a combo system that doesn't make your combos look stupid as fuck. Remember when every character could do a 123 into a knockdown and then OTG with a jab into another combo? Or how, and characters can STILL do this, you have shitters who can just loop the same bullshit 3-4 times like Mu?

Why? It's anime. Zato combos you for 20 seconds with eddie and can mix you up into another combo or guaranteed damage if you block. Pot and Slayer counterhit kill you with one RC in the corner using 6HS/6K and pilebunker loops respectively. I-no and Milia literally never you play, and I-no bread n butter in corner is just juggling you for days between fastfall VCL and P sultry performance. I-no was even worse in AC R+ when she had a second airdash. Venom has like 25 hit combos on a grab, and any corner counter hit is going to produce similar results. Elphelt would have longer combos if people had more health since she kills you in two hits and always wall-sticks you.

You're both exaggerating a bit, but BB does have some legit long combos. More so that GG at least. I remember checking the duration of some of Litchi's BnBs and they were around 10 seconds which is really long. I don't think any GG character can do that midscreen without a meter or a counterhit.

It was it's own game and until recently as above pointed out, had plenty of hitstop, sometime that physically pauses the game. PS3 is mostly fine, but you can see frame drops every now and then with big effects on certain levels, for example when moves clash. I don't think it has fucked me over ever yet with inputs and such, but it does look ugly.
If you stick to simpler levels, you get solid 60fps in my experience.
Many old songs are unlockable with in-game currency, along with old DLC system voices and colors.

I downloaded it, but to me the audio definitely isn't 2 seconds ahead. The voice acting seems pretty spot-on with the subtitles. Are you sure it's not an issue with the playback? In MPC you can adjust the audio delay with with add and sub keys, or set them to whatever you want so perhaps you could try that one out.

ArcSys has a really dumb style of balancing where they don't know how to buff something just enough. They always turbo buff/nerf in one direction.
Jam, in the previous games, was one of the most mindless characters. Once you got the technical aspects of her combos and some esoteric oki setups down, it was basically about frightening people with her ki ball, fishing for any chance to sweep into a charge, then repeating until they fucked up and then WACHOOOOOOO into a 50% wall loop. Some killjoy genius at ArcSys saw this and said "this should not be."

Meanwhile Takumi Inoue, who did Robo-Ky's best voice (MK II) and Robo-Ky in Accent Core (story mode, also best voice) fit like a glove.

Only Arcsys can tell, but when it comes to GG, the company has a history of hiring no-name voice actors that quit the business. Most GG characters have had two or more different voice actors. Baiken was voiced by Yonemoto Chizu in Accent Core and in Revelator she's voice by Asano Mayumi. Robo-Ky was voiced by Inoue Takumi in Accent Core and Chiba Shigeru in Revelator. The Revelator voice actors are arguably more famous in this case, but who knows if that's really the reason for the change.

Been shoving Kum down peoples throats for about a week now. The character is fun as fuck but having poor defense and being a big body is sometimes a pain in the ass especially when people rush your ass down.
The only other issue is just how clunky the character can feel sometimes. Half of shit is chains and the other half is links and strings/combos usually mix the two together so its a very weird feeling. Her dust and fireball setups are great and the neutral is okay. If you play a character like Johnny or Faust who out pokes and can rush you down the MU is honestly shit about you have to out play them hard.
Great character though captured the GG Gouken i was looking for.

Its definitely something you have to get used to. Atleast her air game feels like a normal character but her dash feels laggy to startup and stop even with FD. Also the fireball setups feel like they can be mashed out of if you fuck up the timing even ever so slightly.
I like her though i don't like the weird loops because i play on pad and honestly i probably wouldn't like loops on a stick either as my execution is okay at best and not setup for doing such shit at my current level. But her basic BnBs are really easy and hit hard enough and always kd for a fireball sandwich.
I think Kum will be around bottom 5 if not bottom 5 though. Being a sluggish big body with a mediocre startup super that only hits once is not good enough to be anything amazing. Its so easy to AA Kum also that you have to really be on point with your air/air dash game to get in through the air and some MUs outright force you to do that sometimes like a patient Zato/Sin /Johnny/Faust who all have excellent AAs.

Basically thoughtless characters. It doesn't mean smart people can't play them better but just by default characters that require less thought in the neutral/how to mix you up when they get in.
Like R.Mika/Leo basically block with their faces until they get in and if they do setplay you or you escape and they lose. Its kinda like putting half the game on autopilot. But most of these characters are not too strong in the long run and have weak neutral games.
I'll never understand why they even bother making them. Casuals aren't going to stick with the game too long so making them feel decent is pointless and later on the characters usually fall off the tournament scene overall outside of a few dedicated mainers.
But im probably overthinking is and some characters just turn out that way.

Pretty much every character has 1-2 braindead things about them when they get into position to land it. For Zato it would be his unblockable. For Faust it would be the FDC j.k etc etc. But these are normally very specific instances that require certain spacings/starters to even get the chance to attempt.
Unga just implies when a oki characters basic mixups are all like these ones without the spacing or timing required to get into position it just flows. Although ill never get why people think Sol is unga. His oki is actually on the weaker end and people seem to think getting CH fafnir'd means they got oki'd. No little one it just means he frame trapped you with something he can't special cancel with massive startup that is punishable if you IB it.
Think shit like Leo Cammy R.Mika Ibuki at lower levels etc etc characters that just have these autopilot setups without needing a specific spacing/setup to get them.

The thing with leo is that its only really unga at low levels, players at low levels dont really know how to deal with his pressure and how to recognize his mixup and react to it properly. At higher levels leo is a lot riskier because its easier for people to recognize the risks he takes to stay in and actually do a mixup aside from H Graviert high low, and thats about as unga as kys CSE mixup.
