Although, I did leave it on for a bit while I did some shit, so take away roughly 15 minutes. Considering how there's a few different endings (apparently around 4?), you could probably spend about 8, maybe 10 hours if you don't rush through, on the game.

The scanlines are also pretty heavy, and you're not supposed to be looking at scanline'd filters so close to the screen, the same way you didn't play on your CRT with your face next to it.
Here's an example, the thumbnail looks good but the more you open it and you zoom in the more it becomes jarring. Scanlines are a beautiful but shy mistress, it doesn't want you getting close.

I don't really play traditional VNs nor I don't really care for the romance or lewd plots they usually present, I just love Japanese Adventure Games like Snatcher, Policenauts, 999, Hotel Dusk, Shenmue, etc.
And Yu-No even though it's technically an eroge it's also an unbelievable Adventure Game, and it's not just a standard VN either, it's really a point and click with a time travel mechanic. It's an absolutely amazing game that could absolutely be a more well known game if it wasn't for the eroge taboo wasn't hindering its perception.
It also has stellar art in all aspects, beautiful music, beautiful pixel art, beautiful voice acting.
tl;dr i don't care for lewd vns either but if you like a good adventure game don't hesitate

FYI just an advice, the initial prologue is on rails and there's no interactivity, so it's about 1h (depending on how fast you read) before they free you from your shackles and can actually start playing the game.
