Everything is really fast which is fine but it's really offputting and I'm finding it a lot more stressful and rage-inducing than das and des

Im currently playing through DS2 and i find it a bit easier than DS1. it does definitly feel different from the first one but its still enjoyable. The only wall I've hit so far is the Iron Keep. those damn archers and turtle knights.
speaking of dark souls
i started playing 1 earlier today on NG+ and i found myself in the swamp
so i was like ok cool ill just see if the boss is completed , it isnt, so i kill off Queelag
then i proceed to try to kill ceaseless discharge and promptly lose those souls after the initial "mandatory death" (i dont know how to dodge his attacks) and subsequent reattempt because i forgot about stamina recharging while i was running to "the sweet spot"
after defeating him, i then proceed to the 2nd wandering demon (which i later find out is locked) but end up losing those boss souls to a machete demon
i fucking hate when i lose boss souls to neglegence

I've beaten Bloodborne and DSIII and kinda wanted another souls game on PS4. It's on sale right now but if its really that bad I won't get it.

Depends. The enemies/bosses are much more difficult to read in 3.
End game bosses like that snow tiger and raime still follow a linear pattern attack. Also yeah, some areas can be tougher but you can also completely remove the enemies from the game if you feel like it.
