I think the white highlights make it a bit too bright. The design itself is pretty sleek and cool, but the white on the gloves and the spider feel kinda out of place. The blue of it is a pretty deep like royal or navy and the red is fairly dark itself, the bright white pops a bit too much. Kinda feel like it should be black personally.

I noticed just how well I could follow along with Spidey during the gameplay footage because of the new white parts on his suit. They contrast very well with more brown pallete of the rest of the world.
I just don't like the white/silver spiders on chest and back.
If they were black, it would actually probably be my favorite Spidey costume.

If it were developed by Sucker Punch like the original rumor claimed I would say 100% that it's their morality system and the white is supposed to be the Venom symbiote, but now that it's confirmed to be Insomniac I'm not so sure.
Either way I assume Venom will be in it in some form and there'll probably be an alternate costume that's the black one.

It's a very nice and practical suit imo. It seems that the red areas on the upper part of the suit are more heavily armored than the blue sections, which are probably built to be more elastic for his muscles to expand as he exerts himself. The white on his lower forearm and hands is most likely additional padding for resisting impact or heat. Also the eyes move like they did in the '90s cartoon. Giant white spider on his chest adds some spice and freshness to the design. Overall solid suit.

Yes.
Something I kind of hope that they're able to capture in the game is the use of different suits for certain scenarios.
An example would be like the black suit (not Venom, but the plain old costume) for night time/'stealth' or stuff like the Spider Armor for more intense conflicts.
It's something none of the games have really done at least in the ones I've played, granted it hasn't been super common until Slott took over the series.

Because Swinging around New York in that game is one of the best experience you will ever have playing a video game. I don't remember a single story mission in that game. But I remember climbing up to the top of the empire state building and jumping off it endlessly or web-zipping from tree to tree in Central Park.

I've always liked this suit a lot, though it's quite creepy in many senses. Spider-Man originally has very soft edges to his suit design, while this one was very "edgy".
The webbing almost looks like veins popping out, and those eyes are horror-tier.
I like it, seeing Spiderman in HD was pretty cool honestly. Wondering how good the actual game will look though.

ASM2's was GOAT. I love Spider-Man having big, round, white eyes. It makes him look more friendly and approachable. OK kids, here's the thing, both spidey suits are awesome in their own, they where the best adapatation of the spiderman of their choosing.
Raimi's spiderman was obviously based on McFarlane's design with the edgier eyes and a darker shade of blue.
While Amazing Spiderman is based mostly on Ultimate spiderman, with lighter colors and
soft,rounded eyes.
Left is Mcfarlane's spidey and Right is Ultimate.

Considering it's Insomniac, I doubt they'd ALL be DLCs. Most will probably be unlocked through collecting shit, doing well on missions (probably with a reply option to perfect certain things), and maybe even some stuff unlocking throughout the story.
Worst possible case is maybe one or two suits are DLC related, but they seem to have only done DLC only stuff a few times now rather than a lot.

Not really.
I'm all for stylistic redesigns, but the suit feels a little too busy for me. Traditional superhero designs usually benefit from having an iconic feel to them and from often being instantly recognizable, but the huge white spider symbol(s) and the more interweaving red and blue parts of the suit make it feel athletic, but in a kinda gaudy way.
By contrast, I'm really digging Spider-man's current comicbook look. I know it's mostly the same, but damn those glow-y bits actually look pretty cool.
The fact they were allowed to have a completely original suit is actually s really promising sign.
A sign they aren't being forced by the comics/movie people to follow designs or other shit like that. Its like showing us they have control of the game.
So for that I like the suit. I'm still trying to get used to the white emblem but I'm warming up to it.
