I've gotten to the point where all my frustrations with this game are from the fucking community. A bunch of literal children with their fingers in their ears, desperately trying to deny any wrong doing or mistake on comcept's part. Despite pretty much all the reviews saying the same shit, a good number of those backers on the forums are insisting that it's all opinions and to wait to judge the game for themselves. It's awful.
I'm just emotionally drained by the game at this point. I was fairly "involved" in that whole Dina controversy, or at least, involved enough to be temp banned from the forums. I was there delay after delay, when the rest of the backers still active on the forums said "making a game is hard :(", even after comcept blatantly lied to us about the delay.

IntiCreates was the true power behind Mega Man in the last 10 years and Inafune only had a producer job on in all the games.

There was plenty to warn you about Inafune, long before MML3 was canceled. There was the fact that he destroyed Clover and DMC because "they didn't make enough money" despite DMC4 being the best selling DMC of all time. There was the fact that Inafune wasn't a developer for any of the games and was just a producer. Everyone knew that he wasn't Mega Man's creator for years before MN9 started too.
All the talent that made the 2D Mega Man games was at Inticreates. The fact that those guys weren't making MN9 should have been a big enough indicator that it was bad if all the bad things about Inafune airing out wasn't enough.

I don't like the guy, but he complained about the same thing former Clover staff complained about after Capcom disbanded them, namely that the higher ups only wanted sequels to existing franchises rather than new IPs, which is why they disbanded them (he had nothing to do with it) and reportedly fired him for. And sure, he always admitted he wasn't Megaman's creator (that's why he shoehorned Zero into the X series, to make his mark), but as far as Capcom and the public was concerned, he was the franchises caretaker and accountable for the series success and failures while he was still with Capcom.
