Procedural generation only for the stuff beyond the known universe. Everything we know is there and has a name is in Space Engine and based on real data. I read a forum post where he explained how he could go from any point inside the Milky Way back to Earth without any directions or use of star maps or anything, just looking at the sky and jumping from star to star
And sure it's not a game, but I'd say modelling all the types of atmospheres, known kinds of celestial bodies, etc is pretty impressive. I bet he knows a bit more about astronomy and physics than you and me anon

Not really, it's still procedurally generated outside of a couple of stars and systems, for which he only set a couple of parameters. It's consistent, but procedurally generated. There's a reason why solar system textures and elevations maps weight 10 times more than the game itself for some planets

Just because Souls is lazy doesn't mean everybody else is. There are ways to avoid this, and that criticism doesn't even apply because at least the sword goes into a sheathe and the sheathe has a strap.
If the scabbard didn't have strap, that would be similar to what I'm complaining about. You'd think a game with so muchTECHNOLOGYwould just have a strap around his foot attached to the shield.

They took the Bumfight Simulator part of it up to 11, with a Smokin' Sick Style gauge and combos and shit, but the story, atmosphere, and just about everything else could literally not be worse.

Just something I noticed. Why not just have a strap going over the foot? The strap is already there, you don't need to create a strap asset. More than likely it's just a mistake, just an observation.

Picks up where the first two movies left off storywise. If you wondered where the river of slime in Ghostbusters 2 came from, it'll tell you. In fact I'd bet that Aykroyd put in most of his remaining ideas into the game; even the upgrades have a lengthy description in the in-game encyclopedia. When he said that this was essentially Ghostbusters 3 he wasn't fucking around.
Despite what some critics have said, Bill Murray was the only actor who seemed to be phoning it in. Everybody else was just fine, especially Egon. It was like Harold Ramis never left the role.
Gameplaywise it's also pretty damned fun. Expect some pains in the ass occasionally, like those fucking cherub statues later on, and understand that the game is very linear, so if that's a turn off, you were warned.
