Its a JRPG with dungeon crawler elements that puts a somewhat heavy emphasis on buffs and debuffs with music by Yuzo Koshiro, the Etrian Odyssey composer (also made by the director of the first Etrian Odyssey). I got really good at juggling enemies out of the Milky Way Galaxy after that.
While the music and gameplay were amazing, the gameplay was fucking atrocious. They probably blew all the budget on graphics and music and there wasn't enough to make a proper game.
The engine sucks ass, pc port is a fucking joke, there are some places where the camera will get stuck, platforming is frustrating and imprecise, some cutscenes refuse to work, the game tends to corrupt its files and half of the game was cut. I had to reinstall the game 3 times because it refused to work after certain part. Also, finding a working crack is almost impossible.
But the textures were beautiful, like you could look in a most obscure corner of the game, and it would have textures more detailed than Bruegel painting.
