Either they pussied out or they just decided it was going too far. I don't mind some characters wearing more modest clothes (Kitana and Sonya don't strike me as the kind of women that would want to show themselves off), but Mileena's a slut so she it made sense for her to wear revealing clothes, and Skarlet gained strength by absorbign her enemy's blood through her skin so covering her up in the comic made no sense to me.

It's confusing. She was a revenant at the end of MK9, but didn't appear in MKX's story mode and was either a ghost or a vision in Kitana's non-canon ending. NRS did seem to like fucking with Jade fans, though, what with the ghost Jade emoticon and the kombat kard background with Tanya holding her severed head.
