To put it simply, Pewds, and other media outlets, is trying to manipulate Nintendo into alleviating their streaming policies by pretending as if streaming their games makes them more popular.
So in short, they want to be able to make money streaming Zelda and other related Nintendo content because they KNOW that all of the biggest games of 2017 will be Nintendo exclusive. People are starting to get really upset with people like Angry Joe who don't cover Nintendo products at all, because it genuinely comes off as if they care more about the money than they do the games.
So, what is the problem? Issuing claims on people playing games is retarded and implying it's hurting sales is even worse.

The reason they do not cover a lot of Nintendo content is because nintendo loves to hand out copyright strikes and claims. These strikes and claims can have a toll on a channel that can lead to limiting how long a video can be, taking away simple functions like custom thumbnails, and can even have the channel closed. YouTubers don't what to take that risk because it would hamper them doing what they love, making videos.
