The only thing the Steam controller has going for it is the rear paddles. The shoulder buttons suck, the triggers were leagues better on the Gamecube, and the configuration utility is still incomplete over half a year later, and still requires you to use that shitty TV interface.

Gyro is nice altough you need to learn it and this takes time and not everyone is willing to spend it. Action sets are amazing. The new activators are amazing (for example you can select if you long press a button or doulbe tap it quickly it will do something else as normally binded). The right touchpad if set to trackball mouse is better then a normal stick for camera. I agree on the shoulder buttons though I think they are trash compared to the xbones (havent tried the ds4 controller yet).
