Currently playing through Skyward Sword. It is the last Zelda game I've yet to play and holy fuck it is the first truly bad one. Makes me appreciate the rest of the series much more, so many great games.

I havent touched this franchise in 10 years. Anything worth playing since the ds came out? (Im talking emulator here)
I only played a Link to the Past, great game, tried Skyward Sword (horrific in every way possible), tried Twilight Princess even less (seemed nice) and Ocarina of Time (bad art design, piss poor pacing).
I'd play the new one due to TECHNOLOGY.

You should probably stick to 2D Zeldas. 3D tries too hard to be immersive and comfy, while 2D ones are just straightforward good videogames.

To extend on this, I really dislike Windwaker.
It bores me to death. Way too easy, tons of wasted time with swimming from island to island, and every time I found a random island, the game was like "NOPE! you miss some crucial item to do any kind of exploration, fuck off!"
