cmon op, I also hate open world, but zelda looks like will do it right. all dat TECHNOLOGY, physics, interactivity, fun tools

The only thing Zelda was ever really spectacular at was the joy of exploration and discovery. I doubt you ever liked them in the first place, dumb frogposter.
None of the Zelda games other than maybe the first one were Open World until now.
In fact, no, not even the first Zelda game was open world. The map was certainly big and impressive for the time, but it had good encounters and variety, something that doesn't happen with actual Open World games.

I don't like 3D Zelda or open world meme games but the new Zelda seems to be well designed so far.
