AE is the funnier by far, it has the most appealing visual and gameplay variety.
J&D really is a good 3D platformer and the vast world of 2 and 3 still have an unmatched lvl-design. Too bad the shooting mechanics sucked back then.
Sly is kinda the MGS for kids, too casual on a control-side, but at least the lvl-design is interesting.
Ratchet is all about going forward and shooting stuff with various gadgets. It's fun and all but get olf really quickly.

Jak series had 1 be great, 2 be mediocre and 3 be good
Sly Cooper had 1 be good, 2 and 3 be great, 4 be okay
Ape Escape 1-3 are good but had a nagging issue of capturing monkeys be a pain due to the camera until the new morph suits fixed it
Ratchet and Clanks mainline games stuck to a formula to remain overall great, with only the spin off games ranging from mediocre to okayAlso, PS2 trilogy Ratchet is best husbando, Sly is best fuckbuddy
