Would it even be worth it to take the spider off? SM2 and USM have perfect web swinging, but SM2 has more tricks with it. Better overall I would always say is USM simply because it loaded with all sorts of characters from the comics and has a pretty decent plot to boot. Some people complain about the Venom related content but it's really not as bad as they make out and everyone fucking loves playing as Ultimate Venom in the end, even if it just means running around and eating balloon holding kids for a little while.

I found it to be enjoyable, had enough going on outside the movie to entertain Spidey fans but had an ASM twist on everything. Swinging is fun but it's completely moon and there's plenty going on. For $10 I'd say it's worth it, certainly scratches that Spidey itch for a while.
