Not these guys but It's a 16 vs 16 player game and you can always find 10-20 servers with decent ping pretty much everywhere. So it's far from dead.
Insurgency's saving grace is that it has private servers and a server browser, so it can go on and on even with a smaller playerbase. I can't believe how many developers choose to not add these to their game.
