There are 4 side-story and an extra story episode in the Deluxe edition. This demo is probably one of those. These side stories will probably explain small details of the main plot or maybe they will simply be unrelated situations that put the player in the shoes of victims of the experiments(like in the demo).
People are reluctant to accept this demo might be related to RE, because of the ghost. But i think it's time we accept the ghost. It worth noting that RE1 was inspired by Sweet Home, a game by Capcom that had ghosts.

Yeah, Revelations 2 story is a clusterfuck.
And they actually had a good location, an island in the eastern coast of Russia. A location that has only been used by another game: Singularity but still managed to make it shit.
The thing is, Alex Wesker successfully transferred her mind to Natalia regardless if you got good or bad ending. But luckily, knowing Capcom, they usually drop these plotlines, so this whole mind transfer stuff probably won't return.

Anyone else noticed in VHS land that only the axe drawer and the chained cupboard are interactive? We find the lockpick for the drawer but there's nothing we can use (yet) on the chained cupboard. The fusebox, the TV, the stairs button and the piano do absolutely nothing in VHS land, but the chained cupboard might.This is significant I think.
I'm starting to think this won't be solved until the full game gets released and you need to do something in conjunction with the demo and the full game to progress in the demo.
