I hate any boss that basiclly forces you to do it in "cycles" Like the first boss of Luigi's Mansion. That's why I liked a lot of older games because it was more about skill and evading attacks and shit more than it was about waiting for weak points to expose themselves.

Only thing worse than this is when a party member dies in a cut scene and no one uses the revive item to bring them back like normal.
