I've been Xbox since the day the 360 came out and I can honestly say that this Scorpio console sounds just like a PC with a different interface and exponentially less customizability. I see what they're trying to do, I'm just not sure how it will play out

The scorpio is legitimately the only console I can't understand. Like PS4 has some exclusives and gets alot of weebshit first, the Wii U is a nintendo consoles and hence gets all their exclusives but why the fuck would you get a xbox scorpio now? 4k gaming already exists in the form of PC and microsoft basically told every xbox owner to go fuck themself because PC can now play all their games.

I think they keep trying the same media entertainment box thing they already tried with the Bone? Selling it to extreme casuals who don't really give a fuck about videogames other than your usual triple A shooter and Madden? Which still makes no sense, cause they already have the S out for that kind of people. In any case, it's clear to me they completely abandoned the hardcore market.

Scorpio isn't even gonna be a "XBox", they're killing off the brand in favor of making a win10 machine, same as a steam machine. Going all in on taking over the PC market.
