More unique classes and better choice of items. More artifacts as well since they are fun to change up gameplay and tailor your experience (e.g. the artifact that lets you pick out what you get so you pretty much make your character fly is pretty cool.)
A feature that would let you randomly match up with people online (I'm guessing this would be way hard to do or something, doesnt have to be hosted on a server could be client side, but I want to be able to play with random people since my friends dont play the game.
Maybe a system that upgraded your classes skills as you progressed, this might ruin it though so not sure.
Some moving background animations would be nice. For example in Risk of Rain the background is very plain, the pixel art style is nice but that doesnt mean background animations (e.g. birds flying, clouds slowly trailing) have to be left out.
