So how good is this?
Only played DS1 and it was good but kinda got shitty with the bosses and environment after Anor Londo.
The DLC was great though.

Dark Souls 2 is still great but saying it shits on 1, 3, and Bloodborne is worse taste than the anons who hate 2 altogether.
2 is the worst souls game but still a great game. You are missing out skipping Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, or Bloodborne honestly.

I think Bloodborne is the most consistent of them.
It is also mostly standalone so you don't need to play the other games to get the story.
Not worth it due to the worst load times since the PS1 era. Bearable if you have a 3DS or PSP on hand to play a quick game of something else whenever you die.
It's fantastic and more consistent than Dark Souls. The DLC is From's best work.

load times have been fixed dramatically since launch... personally I like DeS and DS1 most but bloodborne is the most consistent and polished of all of them - DS2 is fine but... i found it lacking in atmosphere almost entirely - that and shit box rooms with n64 texture work

DeS, DaS and BB are the height of the series.
You can play DaS 2 and 3 too, if you're bored.
BB with DLC is fromsoft's masterpiece

Sulyvahn, Nameless and Soul of Cinder were the peak of DS3. Abyss Watchers was ok

It's so good that I bought a PS4 for it and I genuinely don't feel any remorse
It's the only PS4 game I have and I think that buying a whole console for it was worth it. Game's fucking great, really close to being a masterpiece.
Objectively it's the best Souls game
