It was dead this morning because they started it too early, and there wasn't a good turnout last night either. I think it picked up during the 1-on-1 tourney for a while, but I can't really speak to that since I was in the latter tournament.

No, they're just learning to move on. All the good players here will soon start graduating and trying their hand at actual tournaments, they will go where they can be appreciated and grow along other players.
These threads are full of salty shitters who are always complaining about "campers, tryhards" or whatever excuses they can think off to bring the players who are better than them down, it's no surprise these threads are dying when any sort of fun is always brought down with retards crying about "MUH CIRCLEJERK BAN THESE PEOPLE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODS".
It has already begun, all the good players moved on to 1vs1 challonge tourneys leaving these shit tourneys dead in the water, soon they will move on to actual tournaments and never come back here.

This. I think finishing the tourney tonight gave me a chance to think about what I want to do. I'll come back to the game someday but I think I'm done with /v/kend. If you all spent half the time playing the game that you did just posting about it, we'd have better turnouts. I blame myself too for talking about inconsequential shit that happened years ago.
