Everyone has a different opinion about what defines personality, personally I think the MBTI can be helpful for people to find a job that suits them or maybe to get more insight in how you perceive things and react to things. ofcourse you should take the test with a grain of salt, everyone is different within the types.

There's no way there are this many INFPs in this thread. All these MBTI "tests" which just categorize you based on whether you're organized vs messy, loud vs shy, emotional vs logical etc are bullshit because that's not what these letters really mean. I'm ENTJ, but I'm also fairly young, so it's a struggle for me in the office. I know I'd do well leading teams, but I'm at odds with my age and the perception that youth carries these days. Getting leadership stuff now and feeling great about it, results are showing I'm due for a promotion, and I should have one soon.
Your placement in the Myers Briggs test only helps you capitalize on your skills if you take a real test. It's what the test is meant for.
