Depends if PS4/NEO has enough games I want next year. It would just be a Miku machine for me atm.
I got a WIi U in 2013, and a new3ds in late 2014. so I guess it's time for something new. But I won't be getting a NX just for a upgraded Zelda, it would have to have something else pretty amazing at launch.

Not if the Wii U is an indication. That shit took 1 year to get exclusives and 4 years to get any worthwhile exclusives.
I'm going to wait to see how far Emulation gets by next year (when Zelda releases) and then i'll probably buy a Wii U second hand for $50 or NX depending how cheap it is.
Zelda is LITERALLY Nintendos only worthwhile exclusive and once the NX finally puts Nintendo under (no doubt this is their last attempt at securing a place in the console market) hopefully they start making games instead of fisher price boxes like Sega.
I'm leaning "no" on NX for now. Maybe it's unfair and biased of me based on Nintendo's last few consoles, but the radio silence on the thing makes me think it isn't going to be very good and that third parties aren't going to support it unless it really starts selling.
That's a profile, fair or not, that tells me to wait for the thing to hit the bargain bin before even considering it.

Nope. Bought a Wii, only played Mario Galaxy and Gamecube games. Bought a Wii U, only played Super Mario World 3D, MH3U, and Xenoblade Chronicles.
I'm done. I fucking love Animal Crossing and the occasional Mario game but otherwise not much else. And considering how most of the worthwhile Nintendo titles have been coming to 3DS I think I'm good with just that. I'm tired of Nintendo putting out consoles with a shit opening library, take years to get any decent games, then move right on to the next system.
People constantly talked about how the Wii U would be getting tons of games then it took forever to get a handful of worthwhile titles. Now here we go doing it again for the NX. I'm done. I'll stick to my PC, PS4, and 3DS. I'm pretty confident in that carrying me for quite a while.

I will be but not immediately. I am satisfied by what I have left to play with the Wii U and will get get BoTW for the Wii U. Once a bundle comes out that appeals to me, I will. I'm not certain I'll be be buying Mario kart and smash again. I'm expecting I'll wait a minimum of a year and a maximum of 2 and a half before buying it.

Keep in mind that I'm a long time Zelda fan, I played Adventure of Link as my first game in 1992.
But I will be buying this, even a console for it.
Nintendo finally listened to their fans, it just looks great, when you compare it to let's say the PC and it's cutting-edge graphics it's a bit of a step down,but fun is based on gameplay, atmosphere, sound design, etc. and not solely on graphics.
I'll also be buying some games for PS4 and 3DS that looked a lot of fun too and will continue to buy/pirate games on PC that look good too.
tl;dr: I have good taste and actually enjoy video games instead of shitposting like a huge faggot.

I dont think I will throw money at Blanny again, after how they screwed up completely with New 3DS (wow, one game that actually utilize that. ONE. GAME. WHICH IS A PORT). And after their lack of real sales (25% off is not a real sale).
I wanted to be honest consumer, like I am with PC and actually buy all my games on 3DS. Instead, due to prices, it just lie unused, because all games are too expensive and I felt into "eShop sales" meme. Thus, played only one games and thats all. At the same time, said attempt to be "good guy" means I didnt even tried installing CFW and so it ended like that.
NDS was wonderful console with huge library. Blanny screwed up everything since then.

I finally decided to completely skip Wii U and stashed away $500 for NX after seeing new Zelda this week. I haven't owned a Nintendo console since gamecube but I'm predicting an upswing in their creative quality. I'm very happy with my 3DS so I'm ready to have a new tendo in my house

because i bought a wiiu im going to wait it out. even if it gets 5 games i want i already have a pc and ps4 for everything at the moment so it puts me in a strange position. nintendo firsty party isnt enough for me and limits use too much. if it has some kind of hsndheld compatability then i might consider adopting early but untill then nx is going to be a late buy if i ever get it

I love the way this "2" version looks. Yeah, honestly, I didn't know about the rest of /v/ but Splatoon was fucking amazing to me. Splatoon had the most fun multiplayer of last year and then DOOM came and gave me the single player I was craving from a shooter this year. All after I pretty much gave up on the genre.
