I'm speaking out of my asshole here, but I'm pretty sure the one s will not be PLAYING games at 4k. It will be playing 4k media like movies or cinematics. There is a large difference between a PC that can watch videos in 4k and a PC that can run a 2015 title in 4k at a playable framerate with the settings above the lowest possible.
And all of that is unimportant anyways because PC still has its upgradability, multiple uses, modding support, and a plethora of other features that consoles lack.

in 2005/2006 when the new consoles launched you could already build a PC way stronger than them(atleast stronger than the X360) but in the final years of PS3/X360 those PC's that are stronger in raw performance couldn't even play the last games for those consoles.
I am pretty sure a PC with a 750ti even if it beats the PS4/Xone will have problems running on lowest settings and resolutions or even will not run the games that will release in the ending life cycle of the PS4/Xone.

I have an nvidia 970 that I over clocked and I have yet to find a game that makes it struggle. 1 - Having cheaper games
2 - Allowing you to skip consoles
Non-Nintendo consoles are driven by multiplats, and have been for a decade now. Most of those games can be played on PC, plus PC has its own exclusives on top of that.
Example: I'm not interested in the PS4 or Xbox One's few exclusives, so I prefer to play their multiplats on my PC. This has effectively saved me $300-600ish, and now I get better graphics and can use whatever controller I want.
