For what reason? Do characters announce that they're straight in every video game? No. So why would they purposely design a character just so that they can announce to all the players that they are gay and bisexual. There's no reason for homosexuality, as far as our current research has shown. There's some correlation with having more brothers resulting in homosexuality due to neonatal hormones changing after having more sons or something, but it's not concrete evidence.
It randomly affects 2-3% of the population across gender, race, and culture. And besides, it's not like you ask why Nathan Drake is straight, or other characters whose romance is a big focus to them.

The older I get the more I realize that appealing to people's sense of logic just doesn't work half the time.
