I had to repair my desk and now this metal piece juts out and I have to readjust my arm every 5 seconds it makes playing FPS impossible. I hardly have any desk space, I need something that will cover that piece and be comfortable for my wrist to rest on.
I was looking at these 2 but am open to any suggestions.

This is how I have to place my arm to use my mouse. I need something to make it more comfortable.

I know it's shit. The mouse feet peeled off within 3 weeks of use. I had to buy third party mouse feet. It's fine now but there's no excuse for mouse feel to fail that early. I only purchased it because I loved the G500 but they stopped producing it so the price went up to over 100$. I figured the new version would be an improvement but no it's terrible.

This. If it's not the G402, it's shit.

Buy a logitech trackball mouse and you won't be limited to moving your arm across the whole 2 inches of free space you have on that mousepad, you jabroni.
Wear sweatband
Get a new table

I have my mouse sensitivity super high so I barely have to move the mouse as it is. Since I'm 27 and have been hard core gaming all my life I attribute the high mouse sensitivity and limited wrist movement to why I don't have carpal tunnel by now or at least some wrist pain.
The space is fine, I just need something to cover the metal.
