Nope, they haven't added new elements since they added red coins/keys/skewers.

It's lazier than fan level editors, but also has the nerve to use it as a platform for sponsorship deals

they had a great idea with this title, and i was pretty hyped for it, but it's pretty disappointing.

Not much, it's pretty damn good. It could use some additions such as placing water/lava, more enemies, etc etc, but updates have been pretty good so far so I'm hopeful.
