well i cannot justify my hour count honestly, but I left the game at 5.2kmmr which is probably not the best, but most of the time is just playing unranked mode with friends, I usually mained earth spirit, meepo and kunkka or some shit.

My friends play a lot of TF2 and Terraria so I join in sometimes. I'm a furry so I had more reason to play Dust, Undertale, and Freedom Planet than most people.

I just liked te heroes' design, their skills, the item interactions and the different combos.
Plus Co-op is chill as fuck, no flaming, no raging. Even on losses (which happen like 15% of the time).
Problem is, I am matched based on my profile level and date of first game played (late 2012). So I have 46% win rate even on my shitter Normal Skill bracket.

as the original poster of this thread, I can say that i never even touched arcade mode until like last year.
All I can say is it just depends where you start. Once you get into the groove of playing ranked or competitive Dota, it is an addictive feeling and feels great to get into, especially mastering your favourite heroes.
To me, non ranked is not fun at all anymore, there is no feeling of not trying or just not caring at all. So in some ways, I feel like saying you are definitely missing out on the actual buzz of Dota 2, but to each their own, my dude.
