Just got bf4 because of this sale.
I haven't played a battlefield game since BF2. I avoided 3 and 4 looked buggy until recently.
Bf4 has been a blast so far. It really reminds me of some of the fun moments that bf2 brought. Can't believe I gave up on battlefield games.

you can count on almost every random blueberry to have the situational awareness of a cave troll, be it not realising enemies are in the vicinity when gunfire and friendly deaths occur next to them, ignoring your tank as you casually drive right behind them to shoot them in the back, laying prone scoped in with a 10 degree fov tunnel vision as their teammates get knifed right beside them, not giving out ammo when they have 3 dudes running after them
shouting I NEED AMMO for 10 minutes, driving over mines and c4 that were already spotted, flying straight into anti-air despite the loud beeping noises and warning cues or shooting friendlies who were repairing their empty vehicles

Every weapon modification brings advantages and disadvantages, so it's pretty balanced.
The thing to remember is that if you just want to try BF4 to see what it's like, Origin give you 7 days to play it for free. I did it and eventually bought the full version.
