Hello /v/. Been working on a project for the last 2 or so years on and off, and finally have enough time for a monthly release. Remember those old /v/ compilation albums? I was a part of some of them, including VGM THE BEST 1 & 2.Currently, we are making a new series, this one themed by mood or gimmick ala Nintendo Sound Selection.
Just to get a better understanding of what we're going for here, these were the 3 Nintendo ones.
1: Peach: Healing- an album of soft, ethereal tunes.

Though in prior attempts over the years, I've helped with voting threads, a lot of these are curated a large part by myself. That being said, the more board input we have, the better and more varied the compilation will be. If you can think of any great tracks, themes, or characters for the albums, please post them here!
I am pleased to say that Volume 1. Layton Puzzling Music is done, and will be released Saturday night! The next album scheduled to come out will be Wonder-Red Hero Music, so what we need is good suggestions for that one first and foremost. Here's currently what's in store, and what we need suggestions on.

SpongeBob Licensed Game Music (original a joke idea, but there's a lot of good music that could make a for a fine compilation)
An untitled remix-only album with undecided theme
An ice/crystal sounding album

Unfortunately right now I am dealing with ridiculously poor upload speeds which won't be remedied until Tomorrow night at the earliest. It's pristine 256 kbps AAC, but not too big, only 137 megs.

Daisy was just an example of how an album could look. Daisy was nothing more than that, but Layton's plenty real.

Well, perhaps if I elaborated on Layton, that would help. Layton is puzzling music, and we took some liberties with how we interpreted it. We have music from puzzling scenes in point and clicks and mystery games, falling block puzzle games, puzzle platformers, switching piece puzzle games, pretty much anything that fits well and relates to some sort of puzzle game or a puzzling moment in a game.
For Wonder-Red, songs like these will be included.

Either theme songs of gaming protagonists, or epic music that screams protagonist vs boss. Stuff of that nature.

Though Wonder-Red is the next one scheduled, we simply don't have enough songs for a full album just yet. What character embodies summer/beachy/sunny themes though?
