The guy is a fucking joke who only got as much praise as he did because of Tomokazu Fukushima, the person who did the majority of the actual good writing for the series, but was mostly behind the scenes. and Kojima was the company's figurehead and owner, so he got all the glory and was lauded as a genius.
Remember the great stories in MGS1, 2 and 3?
